Title and Summary Senior Software Engineer F/T Overview Assist with all aspects of the software development life cycle. Role. • Responsible for gathering, understanding, and analysis of business requirements for new products. • Design, develop and deliver software solutions for Mastercard Product offerings. • Define requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to internal standards, processes, and best practices. • Design and develop applications by writing advanced software code, systems to system interfaces and complete software solutions. • Identify features or refinements that can improve an existing product and design. • Responsible for testing, and quality assurance of the product to ensure that any new or modified components properly adhere to Mastercard's standards. • Create unit, functional and integration tests. • Responsible for utilizing highly technical skills to create documentation, including user guide and software development guides to be followed by external customers and internal software development professionals; and Provide mentorship and technical support as needed to junior software developers. About You • Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer / Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related technical field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst or related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience. • Qualifying experience must include one (1) year with each of the following: JAVA/J2EE; SQL; JSON/XML; SPRING/STRUTS; WINDOWS/LINUX; ECLIPSE; JENKINS OR CI/CD TOOLS; ALM TOOLS. • Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. • Option to work from home-based office exists. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges O'Fallon, Missouri: $115,000 - $184,000 USD
