Job Summary:
In this exciting role, you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to support key brand initiatives, including film releases, theme park activations, and more
- Manage and grow Pixar's social channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Content, VisDev, Video, Influencer Relations, and Insights teams
- Lead a team of strategists and coordinators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful campaign execution
- Analyze channel performance, presenting key learnings and trends to executive leadership
Responsibilities and Duties:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall social media calendar, ensuring alignment with brand initiatives and messaging
- Developing and implementing social media strategies to drive engagement and content performance
- Collaborating with internal partners to align on tentpole beats and amplify Pixar initiatives
- Managing and mentoring a team of strategists and coordinators
- Partnering with brand and insights teams to assess content performance and adjust strategy accordingly
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in social/digital marketing, ideally in a big brand setting
- Minimum 1+ year of experience directly or indirectly managing people
- Outstanding project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for the Pixar brand, films, characters, shorts, TV series, and Disney Parks presence
- Superior knowledge of social platforms and native products, plus an invested interest in exploring new spaces
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills, with the ability to translate traditional marketing content into brand-relevant conversations
