Job Overview
The Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics will serve as a strategic leader, overseeing the development and execution of our data product roadmap, driving business outcomes, and inspiring a high-energy culture across the team. This role will work closely with cross-functional business partners to bring products to market, enhance existing products and processes, and drive top-line sales and productivity improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and author business reviews of the team roadmap, managing priorities against capacity to deliver results and driving a culture of innovation and experimentation.
- Own and lead the customer, loyalty, and marketing data ecosystem, serving the customer and marketing organization with actionable analytics to support business growth.
- Develop and execute the long-term vision of a data product portfolio or strategic capability, understanding the competitive landscape and influencing enterprise decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop launch and go-to-market plans, identify and resolve issues, and ensure customer and business goals remain aligned with identified customer needs.
- Lead and own operational product strategy, ensuring alignment with other portfolio owners, and facilitate an understanding among the team of broader organizational goals.
- Manage performance, foster an inclusive environment, and leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, assess product health, and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the broader product and technology management community to understand dependencies and create a community of practice.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or product management, with a strong background in marketing, customer, and retail media networks analytics.
- 7 years of direct team leadership experience across software engineering, product management, or data science, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes and leading high-performing teams.
- Prior experience in building, deploying, and operationalizing highly scalable, resilient, and critical data technology solutions, solving business problems in a product model.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree).
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with software development teams to launch online products, with a strong understanding of large-scale order management and inventory systems.
- Experience with customer relationship management systems and a proven ability to drive customer engagement and growth.
- A Master's degree in business administration or a similar advanced degree, with a strong background in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
