Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, driven, and motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will report into the Sr. Director, Financial Operations and assist our Finance team in delivering superior analysis of financial and operational goals/metrics. Your mission will be to provide high-level financial analysis that assists in driving the business to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, and expense.
- Partner with department owners to drive results of the key performance indicators and respective financial results.
- Effectively represent the Finance team in client-facing meetings and communications.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and drive results.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
- Support Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis.
- Financial modeling to capture updated financials instantly and prepare 'what-if' scenarios.
- Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team.
- Identify business problems to be solved and consider how technology solutions will impact the end-to-end data orchestration.
- Identify and implement ways to automate basic and repetitive tasks.
- Produce Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (index match, macro) and PowerPoint skills required.
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hyperion and Smartview experience.
