Skills

Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly work papers, financial statements, and management reports
• Process journal entries, financial transactions, and perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts, addressing any reconciling items or accounting issues promptly
• Verify invoices and expenditures daily, ensuring proper classification and recording of all expenses according to set guidelines
• Review tenant security deposits upon move-out, ensuring accurate refunds
• Assist in preparing the annual property budgets
• Close books at year-end and assist in preparing year-end schedules
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
• Must complete an assessment to be considered for the position
