Position Overview
The o9 Technical Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing o9 Solutions’ AI-powered planning platform for enterprise clients. This role bridges business requirements with technical execution—delivering scalable solutions across supply chain planning, demand forecasting, S&OP, and enterprise analytics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Implementation
• Configure o9 Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG), modules, and apps based on client business needs.
• Design and implement data models, workflows, planning logic, and UI components within the o9 platform.
• Develop and maintain integration pipelines between o9 and external systems (ERP, APS, MDM, CRM, etc.).
2. Technical Development
• Build custom dashboards, KPI visualizations, and analytics using o9 Workbench and GraphDB.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, scripting logic, and transformation workflows.
• Support data ingestion using APIs, flat-file processing, and real-time integration methods.
3. Client Collaboration
• Work with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in solution blueprinting sessions and provide technical feasibility assessments.
• Conduct user training, technical workshops, and post-deployment support.
4. Project Delivery
• Assist in end-to-end project lifecycle: design → build → test → deploy.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues during SIT/UAT cycles.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration maps, and configuration guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and data modeling.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and integration frameworks.
• Understanding of supply chain planning concepts (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory).
• Experience with o9 platform components is highly preferred:
• EKG (Enterprise Knowledge Graph)
• Workbench
• Planning Logic / o9 DSL
• ML/AI forecasting models
• Dashboard and UI configuration
Professional Skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting, implementation, or digital transformation projects.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–6+ years of experience in technical consulting, supply chain systems, or enterprise software implementation.
• Experience with other planning tools (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder) is a plus.
