About the Role
We’re looking for confident, patient-facing Optometrists who communicate clearly in English and are comfortable guiding patients through refraction over a virtual platform.
This role supports U.S. clinics remotely, so clear communication, professionalism, and strong patient interaction skills are essential.
This is an ideal role for optometrists with experience in:
• Retail optical clinics (Titan Eye+, Lenskart Prime/Plus, Gangar, Dayal, Vision Express)
• Teaching/Clinical instruction in Optometry colleges
• Corporate eyecare chains
• Handling NRI, international, or premium clients
Key Responsibilities
• Perform accurate manual or digital refraction using clear step-by-step communication
• Guide patients through vision tests confidently and patiently
• Communicate findings professionally with U.S. clinic staff
• Maintain excellent bedside manner and virtual presence
• Document findings accurately in EMR systems
• Ensure patient comfort throughout the virtual assessment
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Optometry (India-recognized)
• 3+ years of experience in retail optometry or patient-facing clinical roles
• Strong English fluency — clear speaking, calm pacing, and professional tone
• Confident handling patients independently
• Comfortable working night shifts (U.S. EST)
• Reliable internet, webcam, and a quiet work setup
Preferred Experience
• Titan Eye+, Lenskart Prime/Plus, Gangar, Dayal, Vision Express
• Optometry lecturers / clinical instructors
• Experience working with international or NRI patients
• Experience using digital phoropters
