ABOUT THE
POSITION
· We’re growing exponentially and we
are looking for another next member to join our small but powerful team. This
role works directly with the Traffic Lead and reports directly to the Traffic
Manager.
· Our business operates in lively,
high-stakes environments where performance, revenue, and ad operations must be
monitored and managed in real time - like a trading desk.
· Apply if you’re excited to learn
about affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and how a fast-moving media
buying team works.
· In the first 30 days, you’ll focus
on shadowing our team, learning the business and tool stack, and diving deep
into the data, analytics, and sharing daily performance metrics.
HOW IS THE
DEPARTMENT STRUCTURED TODAY?
· There are two people, a lead and
an analyst, who work quite closely together.
· This person would be at the same
level as the analyst.
ROLES
& RESPONSIBILITIES
· Monitor live operations in our media buying department. You will oversee live systems
and triage issues quickly and resolve issues that come up in real time through
quantitative and qualitative analysis. You will proactively identify and
communicate risks early and bring solutions.
· Manage daily cap quotas and allocations. You will strategically distribute traffic volume across media
buying teams based on orders, performance, and capacity. You will make sure
quotas and caps are consistently filled on a daily basis without chaos.
· Monitor lead delivery. You will track pacing throughout the day, flag issues as they
arise, and ensure all quotas are met. Lead pacing must be smooth, strategic,
and consistent.
· Coordinate and collaborate with
cross functional teams. You will communicate with a wide
variety of internal and external stakeholders (media buyers, affiliates,
vendors, partners, and internal team members) to keep operations running
smoothly.
· Analysis and report on performance. You will pull daily statistics, summarize trends, patterns,
and risks, and surface anything that needs attention. You will update daily
performance trackers and dashboards accurately, consistently, and on time.
· Maintain and manage systems. You will maintain our tracking platforms, spreadsheets, and
dashboards accurate and up to date
WHAT ARE
THE MOST COMPLEX OR ANALYTICAL TASKS INVOLVED?
· This person must be analytical and good with numbers. They will use data to diagnose and solve problems. As an
example, they should know Excel formulas or know how to build a simple model in
a spreadsheet (or know how to use AI to do that).
· This person must be a fast
learner. We work with a unique technical stack and our business is unique. They
should be able to learn the basic functions of new tech tools and systems in
order to troubleshoot quickly.
