They are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to support middle office functions for their SMA Solutions, focusing on cash and position reconciliation, collaboration with custodians and brokers, and process automation.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliation of several thousand separately managed accounts
- Collaborate with custodians, brokers, and internal partners to resolve issues related to daily processes, daily data delivery, trade settlement, and security setup
- Respond to and process corporate action notifications across all Aperio managed accounts via email, fax, and various custodial websites
- Reply to diverse external and internal requests in a timely and professional manner
- Work on projects to streamline operations, automate processes, and reduce errors
- Effectively document and maintain processes
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in business, math, finance or related fields
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a small group environment; a collaborative attitude is a must
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities
- A high degree of integrity with the ability to handle confidential matters
