Associate Mental Health Therapist (Remote, W-2)

Compensation This position pays a combination of PER-SESSION pay between $45-$55 per session, based on experience + a 50% split of reimbursements processed through the practice. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Associate Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHCA or LCSWA) to provide high-quality mental health services as a w-2 employee. This Clinician will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver social, emotional support to invest in experiences of whole-body wellness, to individuals and groups, fostering positive mental health outcomes. They will be coached to understand broader state and federal policies and best practices procedures to be able to confidently benefit clients, communities and clinicians in a balanced ethical framework toward this work. Schedule As an employee, Associate Clinicians have a balance of supervision support and autonomy to give space to learn, develop and build a method and focus of care provision that feels authentic to their vision for the clients they serve, Associate Clinicians will be scheduled, based on their preferred weekly schedule and will have regular breaks, lunch and administrative blocks to support a healthy work-life balance. Duties • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 and ICD coding systems, to determine client needs and treatment plans. • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). • Deliver specialized care for wide spectrum of populations including those with depression, anxiety, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, multi-marginalization experiences, chronic illness, disabilities and more. • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies. • Facilitate intake sessions, case management activities, and patient care coordination while maintaining HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records. • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation, data collection, research purposes, and tracking patient progress efficiently. • Engage in clinical research initiatives related to psycho-social-sexual mental health counseling to support continuous improvement of services. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in community settings to deliver home and community-based care that emphasizes patient-centered approaches. • Conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/ICD-10 codes; document findings accurately for billing (CPT coding) purposes. • Invest in frameworks of empowerment based trauma-informed care, prioritizing accessibility and balance or both client, clinician and community.
