Greene Espel PLLP is a top-notch litigation boutique located in downtown Minneapolis, offering an opportunity for a Case Manager. The successful candidate will manage legal documents, assist in case support, and handle calendar management while contributing to the efficient operation of the law firm. Responsibilities - Assist in the preparation and e-filing of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state, federal, and appellate courts - Learn and master court rules regarding format, specific requirements, service, and electronic filing programs in state/federal court - Draft and send client correspondence, memos, and other supporting documents - Organize and maintain digital filing system for easy document retrieval - Update and manage legal databases with case information and relevant documentation - Prepare shell templates in accordance with court requirements - Assist in legal research by both gathering and inputting information into and from legal databases - Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on case-related tasks - Assist in the collection, organization, and production of discovery materials - Help organize deposition and trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders - Learn and stay up to date on various litigation software - Schedule appointments, meetings, depositions, and court dates - Log and track attorney admissions, licenses, CLE credits, and registrations - Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and promptly - Assist with client and attorney monthly billing processes - Process client and attorney expenses and invoices Skills - Bachelor's degree - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality - Ability to carefully and completely execute various tasks under pressure of multiple deadlines - Enthusiasm, responsiveness, and focus on excellent performance - Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on mutual respect, trust, and team collaboration - Relentless attention to detail, deadlines, and comfortability with setting cheerful reminders - Excellent organizational and project management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools - Ability to successfully manage one's own reminder schedule to complete tasks for multiple attorneys and paralegals Benefits - Life and disability insurance - MN Paid Family Medical Leave insurance - Paid parking or MetroPass - Medical insurance (we pay 85% of single coverage) - Generous paid time off and holiday pay policies - 401k match and profit sharing upon eligibility - Exposure to various legal tasks and opportunities for professional growth - Ongoing training and mentorship to enhance administrative and paralegal skills - Flexible hybrid work after initial training period (Some in-office work is required) - Plus many other voluntary benefits Company Overview - Clients turn to Greene Espel when they face their greatest legal challenges.
