About the role: As a Client Services Consultant at Fragomen, you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while helping clients navigate the complexities of global immigration through industry-leading service and technology. This role on our U.S. Global team involves identifying, collecting, and analyzing data to improve program performance and process efficiency, while serving as a key resource for both clients and internal case teams. As a Client Services Consultant, you will handle inquiries, manage requests, and help develop solutions to a variety of operational challenges, with significant client interaction throughout. This role is based in our Houston office and requires a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence in Houston.
Responsibilities
• Manage the flow of information and documentation between clients and Fragomen.
• Respond to procedural and case-status inquiries from foreign nationals, business stakeholders, recruiters, and HR contacts.
• Prepare immigration assessments outlining potential visa, work authorization, or residence options across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate case initiation and conduct detailed fact-gathering to support immigration filings.
• Schedule and participate in client meetings to provide overviews of upcoming immigration processes, including temporary and permanent residence pathways, as needed.
• Follow up with clients to obtain outstanding documentation and information required for case progression.
• Facilitate completion of immigration submissions by coordinating signatures, confirmations, and required supporting materials.
• Support client compliance with jurisdiction-specific regulatory and documentation requirements.
• Draft immigration-related correspondence (e.g., employment confirmations, invitation letters, travel documentation, business introduction letters), as required.
• Perform general administrative support as needed to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain and update client and foreign national contact records.
• Prepare, update, and manage case status reports; develop custom reporting and build knowledge of firm and client processes.
• Monitor case progress with relevant government authorities and external stakeholders.
• Conduct routine follow-ups on pending temporary status extensions and work authorization applications.
• Review employer-specific compliance considerations related to workforce immigration programs.
Requirements
• 3+ years of professional work experience in business immigration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
• Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office and Excel and is able to quickly learn other software applications.
• Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
• Ability to contribute to positive work environment.
Nice-to-haves
• Some experience with both NIV and IV cases preferred.
• Experience with global immigration/global mobility, highly desired.
