Role: Cloud Network Lead/Architect Location: Mountain View, CA Duration: 12 Months We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Networking Engineer to design, implement, and optimize networking solutions across our cloud environments. You will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing network connectivity for our global systems. This role will partner closely with cloud, DevOps, and security teams to deliver reliable cloud networking architectures that meet the needs of a growing, mission-critical platform. Cloud Networking Design & Implementation • Architect and maintain networking solutions in AWS and Google Cloud Platform including VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, and hybrid connectivity. • Design and configure load balancing, API gateways, private service access, and service meshes for modern application environments. • Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and SD-WAN Security & Compliance • Enforce network security best practices, including zero-trust principles, segmentation, and encryption in transit. • Partner with the security team to monitor for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threats. • Support compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) through secure network design. Operations & Troubleshooting • Lead advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity, latency, and throughput issues. • Build automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) for network provisioning. • Maintain observability and monitoring tools to ensure health and reliability of network services. • Provide on-call support for critical infrastructure networking issues. Responsibilities: 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5+ years in cloud networking. Deep knowledge of AWS VPC networking, Google Cloud Platform VPC & VPC-SC, or Azure Virtual Networks. Strong background in routing, BGP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing in cloud and hybrid environments. Experience with Kubernetes networking (CNI, service mesh, ingress/egress). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation). Familiarity with security tools, monitoring, and observability (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Certifications: AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Network Engineer, CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent. For applications and inquiries, contact: [email protected]
