Curriculum Developer & Spanish Teacher (Beginner Level | Ages 3–10)
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer who is also confident teaching young learners. This role is unique in that you will not only design curriculum—but also teach it—allowing you to refine and improve lessons based on real classroom experience.
This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who loves working with children, understands how they learn, and can bring Spanish to life through engaging, interactive lessons.
What You’ll Do
• Design and develop beginner-level Spanish curriculum for children (ages 3–10)
• Create visually engaging lesson materials using Canva (advanced level required)
• Teach your own curriculum in live online classes
• Continuously refine and improve lessons based on student engagement and outcomes
• Incorporate interactive, play-based learning strategies into lessons
• Align curriculum with our teaching approach, including:
• Comprehensible input
• Modeling and repetition
• Total Physical Response (TPR)
• Use of props, visuals, and movement
• Differentiation for varying student levels
Who You Are
• Advanced in Canva (this is a must)
• Experienced teaching young children (online teaching experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of beginner Spanish instruction
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable teaching and adapting in real-time
• Passionate about making learning fun, engaging, and effective
Why This Role is Different
This is not a “create and hand off” curriculum role.
You will:
• Teach what you create
• See what works (and what doesn’t)
• Refine lessons in real time
This allows for a much stronger, more effective curriculum that truly supports student learning.
Our Teaching Approach
At Spanish With Littles, we focus on joyful, engaging, and student-centered learning. Our methodology blends research-based strategies with playful interaction to support natural language acquisition.
We prioritize:
• Engagement through movement, props, and storytelling
• Building confidence through repetition and modeling
• Creating a supportive environment where students learn at their own pace
To Apply
Please include:
• Your teaching experience (especially with young learners)
• Examples of Canva work (required)
• Any curriculum you’ve created (if available)
• A short note on why this role is a good fit for you
We’re looking for someone who is excited to build, teach, and grow something meaningful—while helping young learners fall in love with Spanish
