About the Role: Customer Operations Specialist
The Customer Operations Specialist (COS) is a critical component of our operations team, responsible for ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed our customers' needs. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between our pilots and valued customers, driving service delivery, and fostering the highest level of satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the blithequark Operations Desk, serving as the command and control center, and primary point of contact between pilots and customers.
- Input, track, and analyze data related to reports received from pilots and subsequent customer interactions, providing valuable insights to drive service improvements.
- Directly communicate with customers, leaving a lasting positive impression and building strong relationships.
- Generate customer reports indicating services provided and results of inspections, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Solidify hard data from vague clues, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with generating the daily flying schedule and associated mission products using blithequark proprietary software, Garmin products, and Google Earth.
- Coordinate with maintenance to understand aircraft availability and its impact on flight operations, ensuring seamless execution.
- Communicate expectations of performance to pilots prior to mission execution, driving success and minimizing errors.
- Assist with general projects relating to the overall business as a critical member of a very small management team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Coordinate with the President to onboard new customers and integrate requested work with existing operations, ensuring a smooth transition.
Requirements: Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A customer service orientation with an interest in operations, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, especially verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Self-motivation and comfort working with ambiguity and complexity, driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite as well as Google Earth, with the ability to adapt to new software and systems.
- Full weekend availability, with a 5-day work week.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the aviation or Oil and Gas industry.
- Familiarity with proprietary software and Garmin products.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive insights from data.
