Key Responsibilities
- Issue, reissue, and discount traveler tickets, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
- Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations, managing complex travel arrangements with ease.
- Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Perform traveler check-in and front seat assignment, correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Issue vouchers and provide direction to travelers for accommodations, meals, and transportation, showcasing your ability to handle challenging situations.
- Work gate reader/scanner and related tasks, including pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on items, and gate line models, highlighting your attention to detail.
- Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning travelers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Make boarding and departure gate announcements, communicating effectively with travelers.
- Convey domestic/international flight documents, performing tasks with precision and care.
- Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures, wrapping up tasks with diligence.
- Accept, check, and tag travelers' baggage at destination stations, full-service ticket counters, and priority ticket counters, demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a schedule of flight check-in processes, staying organized and focused.
- Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations, handling transactions with accuracy.
- Assist travelers with self-service stand check-in and booth baggage handling at ticket counters, providing helpful support.
- Line up at ticket counter stands and ticket counters, managing queues efficiently.
- Clear/confirm international documents at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations, streamlining the baggage handling process.
- Help clients requiring special assistance or in-station, including boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-mobile travelers, unaccompanied minors, or special needs travelers, showcasing your empathy and care.
- Perform client assistance work related to handling codeshare flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements, demonstrating your versatility.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any mandatory overtime requirements, highlighting your reliability.
- Answer and assist during security and emergency circumstances, responding promptly and professionally.
- Provide connecting travelers gate information, ensuring they have the information they need.
- Deliver quality client service in a professional manner and according to blithequark's guidelines, embodying our customer-centric culture.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards, upholding our high standards.
- Complete job-related stages of training, committing to ongoing learning and development.
- Comply with regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA), staying informed and up-to-date.
- Utilize various internal resources/systems, including during client interactions, leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences.
- Wear attire as expected by company policy, presenting yourself professionally.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree, demonstrating your academic achievements.
- Bilingual language skills in certain locations, enhancing your ability to serve diverse customers.
- A valid driver's license as required by local authorities, where applicable.
- The ability to satisfy FAA criminal history background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- The ability to obtain proper airport authority and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable.
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements.
- Authorization to work in the U.S., ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Preferred Qualifications

- Working knowledge of Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems, streamlining your workflow.
