Position Summary: The Customer Success Clinical Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering clinical training on Mevion proton therapy systems, as well as on new product features. In addition to serving as a key contact for customers and building strong relationships, this role also handles the escalation of customer requests through cross-functional teams. This position will report to Manager, Clinical Solutions & Training.
Essential Functions:
- Design and enhance clinical education programs to support both new and current technologies.
- Identify and manage potential risks for clinical adoptions of the new clinical applications.
- Driving continuous improvement on the clinical application adoption process.
- Keeping current in treatment techniques, clinical protocols, and education methodology through continuous education and professional improvement.
- Applying clinical experience & knowledge to improve the end-to-end user experience of Mevion product offerings, including integrations with third party solutions.
- Developing customer-facing documentation associated with field actions, potential safety issues, etc.
- Act as the point of contact for customer accounts, cultivating strong relationships by effectively identifying and addressing customer clinical needs.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, both virtually and on-site, and coordinate with cross- functional internal teams to advocate for customer needs.
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
Education, Training, & Experience:
- ARRT certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Radiation oncology clinical experience with in-depth knowledge of clinical environment and workflow.
- Proton Therapy experience preferred.
- Leadership skill with demonstrated ability to make important decisions, to delegate and coordinate effectively, to manage multi-tasks efficiently.
- Experience as a teacher or instructor, with supporting evidence.

- X-ray and CT imaging

Physical and Environmental Considerations:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Required use of standard office equipment including laptop, phone, copier, etc.
- Typical office environment.
- 30-40 % domestic travel is required: occasional international travel.
- The use of the equipment requires physical work in lifting and manipulating heavy objects.
