What The Candidate Will Do
? Verify order readiness for shipments and change appointments when necessary
? Prioritize loads by time schedule, and customer priority ensuring deadhead is minimal
? Ability to schedule using various customer applications
? Confirm shipment delivery via carrier websites, phone, email, etc.
? Create shipments when necessary based on customer and carrier business rules.
? Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers contracted to the dedicated fleet as well as other carriers operating in your geographical region
? Establish and maintain effective relationships with shippers and receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses
? Correspond with Operations, customer, and carrier regarding rating and accessorial information as set per customer business rules.
? Lead training sessions for Carrier Contacts as necessary on Carrier Portal.
? Set-up new customer and vendor users and locations in the TMS, leveraging knowledge of customer business practices.
? Use of JIRA to file tickets of identified issues surrounding invoice resolution.
? Long term KPI reporting by account as determined by management.
? Identify patterns with shipper, receiver and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
Basic Qualifications
? High school diploma or GED equivalent
? 2-3 years of Customer Service and/or Transportation experience
Preferred Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Management
? 2-4 Years of Customer Service experience within the Transportation or Logistics Industry
? Working Knowledge and Utilization of the Uber Freight TMS
? Proficient in Microsoft Office
? Basic Math
