We're seeking a passionate and skilled Data Scientist to help us scale our impact and lead the industry.
As a Data Scientist, you will:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to inform Aeetna's Federal healthcare growth strategy through data analysis (e.g., customer segmentation, test design, pricing, scenario planning).
- Develop predictive models to translate complex business challenges into actionable insights for short- and long-term business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth across business operations and marketing channels.
- Counsel on the development of analytical frameworks to assess business and technical trade-offs, integrating business acumen and advanced data science techniques.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a natural problem-solver with a knack for translating technical analysis into clear business recommendations.
- Has a proven track record of using data to influence cross-functional partners and drive data-informed decisions.
- Can communicate complex issues and analyses in a clear, concise, and impactful way.
- Is proficient in data querying and manipulation languages (SQL, Python).
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience leading analytical projects and driving business impact with data-driven insights.
- 1+ years of experience consulting with business or process teams in large organizations.
- 1+ years of experience using data programming languages (SQL, R, Python).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing analytics or management consulting.
- Strong business acumen and ability to tell compelling data-driven stories.
- Solid understanding of cutting-edge analytical tools and languages to analyze large datasets.
- Proactive in identifying and preventing issues before they arise.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience using analytical techniques on complex data to solve business problems.
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or related industries.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Wellbeing bonus, commission, or transient incentive program.
