Key Responsibilities: Leading the Charge in Fulfillment Services
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with our Delivery Operations team and cross-functional partners to identify, define, and prioritize high-impact projects, adapting to evolving business needs and opportunities in the fulfillment space.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and maintain your team's product strategy and roadmap, aligning with our overall Fulfillment objectives. Prioritize work effectively and communicate responsibilities and updates to your teams and partners regularly.
- Team Empowerment: Lead multiple Product Managers as they drive their teams' performance, fostering a culture of collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Performance Ownership: Oversee the performance (and measurement) of your team's product experiences, focusing on their impact on the business and our customers.
- Customer-Centric Innovation: Integrate customer research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements, ensuring that our products meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly present to company leaders on roadmap progress, strategy, and prioritization, showcasing your team's achievements and future plans.
- Active Contribution: Participate in Etsy's product community, contributing to areas such as product culture and mentorship, to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Experience We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A proven track record of driving teams to deliver significant impact, in both 0-1 and iterative spaces.
- Experience in seller-driven fulfillment (as opposed to retailer-driven fulfillment), with a bonus if you have marketplace insight.
- The ability to be a compelling teammate who can drive decision-making and influence through informal power, ideally with experience working closely with business or functional partners.
- A strong background in using qualitative and quantitative data to set strategies, inform execution, and make product decisions, complemented by the ability to apply sound judgment.
- A passion for solving real customer problems and advocating for their needs, while balancing them with business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring and engaging various audiences on diverse subjects.
