As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in the absence of their regular teacher. Key Responsibilities

- Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular teacher

- Be flexible and adaptable, and able to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will need to have:
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, with at least one from a previous direct supervisor
- A NJ Substitute Credential
- A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
- An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with students of all ages, from kindergarten to high school
