Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and management oversight for the COM Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, ensuring seamless operations between academic and clinical enterprise.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to address financial projects and develop positive working relationships with a diverse group of professionals at all levels within the organization.
• Manage a diverse group of professional and administrative staff, providing guidance on recruiting, personnel management, and faculty promotion and tenure processes.
• Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and divisional/departmental business and financial processes.
• Provide administrative guidance for recruitment activities, oversee departmental HR issues, and manage expenditures and operational issues related to departmental educational programs.
• Apply budget process and monthly operating budgets, as well as grants management, to ensure effective financial management.

Essential Qualifications
