As a Safety Analyst at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our Safety department, supporting various individuals in processing reports, gathering data, generating reports, following up on corrective actions, investigating incidents, and participating in special projects as assigned.
This role is responsible for supporting the Safety department in the development and implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) data collection structures and other techniques that optimize processes and systems used to determine compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, as well as ordinary business best practices. The Safety Analyst will act as a subject matter expert for Safety Programs, collaborate with Safety Department Managers regarding safety activities, and review, process, and analyze all reports received via the safety reporting system.
The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge of Aviation Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, LOSA, FRMP, IEP, VDRP), operational familiarity with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight, and Maintenance, and knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum equipment lists, aircraft dispatch procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, risk management, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion.
