**Job Summary**
We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our Inbound Call Center team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a CSR, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This is a permanent full-time position with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound calls from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, following scripted questions to gather information about their work sites
* Obtain and enter accurate information into a ticket format, utilizing a mapping system similar to Google Maps
* Identify work sites on digital maps, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
* Provide excellent customer service, creating positive relationships with callers, peers, and management
* Process information quickly and accurately, adhering to outlined criteria
* Demonstrate an interest in public safety and apply new concepts to ensure the safe excavation of underground utilities
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to listen and problem-solve effectively
* General computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and mapping systems
* Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
* Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a willingness to work overtime based on business needs
* Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
* Must pass a criminal background check
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior experience in customer service or a related field
* Familiarity with mapping systems and data entry software
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (optional)
