About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining excellent relationships with our policy holders. Your goal will be to increase retention rates through proactive and reactive communication, ensuring that our customers feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Answer calls from policy holders, actively listen to their concerns or questions, and respond with compassion and a desire to assist.
- Proactive Communication: Contact policy holders to provide updates on their accounts, ensuring they stay informed and engaged.
- Retention and Reactivation: Reach out to customers who are in cancellation status, follow up on terminated policies, and engage with customers who are late or in jeopardy of being late.
- Daily Tasks: Complete daily tasks such as following up on newly issued policies, providing service-related care to current clients, and identifying opportunities to turn dissatisfied policy holders into satisfied ones.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with teammates to ensure seamless customer experiences and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Prior Office Experience: A minimum of 1 year of prior office experience is required, with experience in the insurance industry or a related field being highly preferred.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Capable of maintaining long-term relationships with policy holders, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: A confident, self-starter who works well independently and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient typing and computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience: 1 year of customer service experience is preferred, with experience in the insurance industry being highly valued.
- Property & Casualty License: A Property & Casualty License is preferred, but not required.
