**Job Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their travel experience is smooth and enjoyable
* Assisting passengers with disabilities, including those who require wheelchair assistance or have other special needs
* Ensuring the terminal is always stocked with wheelchair equipment in the designated areas
* Investigating passenger's luggage records and flight information
* Ensuring all security protocols are followed, including those related to air transporters and airports
* Assisting passengers upon arrival from the plane to the baggage claim and airport curbside
* Providing valuable information to passengers
* Staying up-to-date on gate and flight information, as well as any changes
* Communicating with in-flight teams to ensure the efficient loading and unloading of passengers requiring assistance
* Assisting passengers to restrooms and food vendors as needed
* Assisting hearing or visually impaired passengers
* Ensuring all equipment used during responsibilities is maintained in good condition
* Reporting any damaged or out-of-order equipment to a supervisor for repair
* Reporting any safety risks or medical issues to a supervisor
* Expected to undergo passenger security screening on multiple occasions
* May assist with other security and safety protocols within the role
* Taking all reasonable and urgent precautions to ensure the safety and security of passengers, as well as colleagues and other staff
* Assisting passengers with social gatherings and dismantling assistive devices as needed
* Understanding and adhering to a manager's instructions regarding any passenger hazardous items for loading onto the plane
* Reporting immediately to the board any incidents that injure or harm any individual or property
* Assisting passengers with service animals (dogs) as needed
* Agreeing with affiliation standard security and safety protocols
* Using affiliation organizing tools to report any defiance events
* Assisting with passenger wayfinding and directing passengers to their correct gate and plane or the baggage claim and exits during offload
* Assisting with security checking of the ramp to prevent unauthorized staff from entering the secure areas
* Participating in crowd control and line-seeing to ensure efficient passenger flow
* Providing information and directional assistance to passengers
* Taking direction from supervisors, managers, and all departments to ensure that assistance issues are being addressed and reviewed to ensure the quality of service
* Actively contributing to a significant team, working with skilled colleagues to ensure ideal assistance is achieved while keeping procedures on time
* Ensuring FAA and arenaflex airport standards are adhered to
* Other responsibilities as assigned
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A blend of education and experience will be considered
* Must be eligible to work in the US as portrayed by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
* Must pass a Criminal Background check
* Discretionary High School Diploma/GED
* At least one (1) year of Customer Service experience
* At least one (1) year of airline industry experience
* Knowledge of Allegiant Customer Service and Ground Operations techniques
* Individuals must be organized, and extremely lively with a positive and friendly outlook
* Ability to communicate with internal and external customers with exceptional skill and professionalism
* Ability to work productively under time constraints
* Ability to complete tasks in an involved and creative environment
* Comprehensive and careful in work tasks
* Knowledge of basic computer skills and general office equipment
* Especially prepared and adhere to uniform dress code standards
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and sporadic tasks
* Inclined towards basics Capable guidance
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in the airline industry
* Knowledge of Allegiant Customer Service and Ground Operations techniques
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to work in a team environment
