Job Overview

We are currently looking for a dedicated and collaborative professional with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Studio Research and Analysis team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the blithequark+ product, marketing, and content curation teams by analyzing and integrating data, as well as providing support for quantitative and qualitative research initiatives. Your primary areas of responsibility will focus on blithequark+ product and customer experience tracking programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including collection and preparation of data, as well as extraction and analysis of data from various sources to build reports, tables, and report sections
• Join different datasets using SQL to aid in the daily operations of the blithequark+ customer experience tracking project
• Collaborate with various teams to conduct research at blithequark, including communicating project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and enhance our datasets
• Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from other divisions of the organization, as well as external vendors
• Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of blithequark+ and the blithequark Streaming Bundle
• Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report assignments and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines
• Work with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is strategically relevant and drives key direction
• Collaborate with the team and analysis groups within Snowflake and Databricks
• Maintain excellent verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements
• Respond to basic data requests from internal clients
• Support the presentation of findings based on analysis conducted and contribute to related business discussions
• Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends in a continually evolving landscape

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience is also acceptable.

You should also have:

• Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and consolidate unique data sources
• Ability to extract data and combine with other data sources to foster a rich, complete picture for the business
• Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)
• Experience with survey tools (e.g., Interpret, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Experience with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages
• Postgraduate degree in Market Research or Statistics
• Quantitative analysis background, either supplier-side or client-side
• Experience with analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights
• Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Blithequark offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits. The recruiting range for this position is $93,400 to $125,200 per year, depending on experience and location. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be offered as part of the compensation package.
