Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our Aetna Medicare Sales and Commissions team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality analytical work, creating insightful reports, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data analysis needs, and translate them into actionable visualizations and reports.
- Design and optimize data models and data systems to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Conduct data analysis, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide valuable insights to drive informed business decisions.
- Perform data validation and data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of visualizations and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across different systems.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Strong SQL and database skills, with experience working with large datasets.
- Expertise in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics.
- High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with non-technical users.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:
- Ability to quickly develop expertise and knowledge of new domains and underlying data sources.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning within Tableau Server and reports.
- Knowledge and experience developing SSIS packages.
