Key Responsibilities
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at JFK Airport, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on our aircraft to ensure their airworthiness and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections, repairs, and replacements, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex maintenance issues, and implementing effective repairs and solutions.
- Conducting inspections and tests to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, and mechanical components.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including documentation of repairs, inspections, and testing.
- Collaborating with other maintenance technicians, inspectors, and engineers to ensure the efficient and safe completion of maintenance tasks.
- Participating in continuous training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, regulations, and best practices.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Endeavor Air, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with a regional airline or a major carrier.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex maintenance issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with other maintenance technicians, inspectors, and engineers.

- Experience working on Bombardier CRJ or similar aircraft types.
- Knowledge of MSG-3, ATA, or similar maintenance manuals and guidelines.
- Certification in Inspection Authorization (IA) or a willingness to obtain IA certification.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software.
