About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry and Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Ohio, USA. As a key member of our Single Copy Sales (SCS) Allocation Support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the distribution and billing of our publications to Discount, Retail, and Convenience accounts. This exciting opportunity involves inbound and outbound customer service interactions, follow-up, and data entry tasks, all while working with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage account creation and administration for various print offices
- Direct record supply management and bring section back
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via email and telephone
- Assist customers with questions regarding supply, returns, and research related to billing inquiries
- Collaborate with Sales and Production administrators to support print focus dispatch and routing plans changes
- Aid in all aspects of the customer invoice process, requiring intense attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Develop a working understanding of the Lattice Single Copy System and other course and business systems
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Years of general office experience, as well as prior customer service experience
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (ability to maintain complex accounting spreadsheets)
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize a varying daily workload
- Willingness to work a standard 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule and adapt to ensure coverage
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with data entry and customer support software
- Knowledge of the publishing or media industry
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Proficiency in additional Microsoft Office applications
