Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Data Entry Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for entering work orders into our computer system, organizing workflow, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an entry-level opportunity, and previous experience is not necessary. We offer paid, hands-on training to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter work orders into the computer system for scheduling purposes based on direction from the dental office for each case
- Contact accounts with any delivery conflicts and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Organize workflow throughout the lab and deliver work to departments as needed
- Verify the content of outgoing orders by accurately reviewing prescriptions, work tickets, and other applicable notes
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Answer telephone calls and provide exceptional customer service when needed
- Assist with nightly cleanup of the area as required and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Additional Responsibilities
- Send out prescription forms, boxes, and labels as needed
- Restock work area and perform general cleaning tasks
- Help where needed as directed by your supervisor and demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, including wearing gloves, masks, and eyewear as required
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic functional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Ability to verbally communicate with all levels of staff and provide exceptional customer service
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with shipping and receiving, including FedEx, UPS, and USPS
