Key Responsibilities
- Document Preparation and Organization: Prepare, compile, and organize documents for data entry, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete.
- Data Accuracy and Discrepancy Resolution: Ensure the accuracy of source documents, rectify any discrepancies in data as needed, and collect additional information for incomplete documents.
- Database Management: Update databases, eliminate unnecessary files, and rearrange and consolidate data from various source documents when necessary.
- Data Entry and Transcription: Enter data into designated databases, files, and forms, and transcribe information into required electronic formats.
- Document Digitization and Management: Digitize documents into document management systems or databases, and review completed tasks for accuracy and completeness.
- Document Storage and Retrieval: Safely store finished documents in appropriate locations, maintain logs of activities and tasks performed, and respond to information requests and access relevant files.
- Equipment Maintenance and Administrative Tasks: Maintain office equipment and supply inventories, print necessary information as requested, and adhere to data integrity and security protocols.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in data entry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills and Competencies
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication capabilities and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
