Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Digital Media Operations Leader to join our team as a Client Service Management expert. As a key member of our Milan-based Italian advertising sales and operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and delivering top-notch client service to our advertising partners. Your expertise in media planning, campaign management, and team leadership will be essential in helping us achieve our business objectives and maintain exceptional relationships with our clients and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Digital Media Operations specialists in supporting assigned sales representatives and clients through all stages of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing
- Develop and execute effective media plans that maximize revenue and drive client satisfaction
- Assign team responsibilities, contribute to campaign management, and provide guidance and support to ensure successful campaign execution
- Perform all tasks related to campaign management, including inventory forecasting, media plan creation, order entry, trafficking, optimization, reporting, and invoicing
- Ensure that the Account Manager is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions and concerns
- Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations on complex issues or requests related to inventory, ad products, or campaigns
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams to track revenue and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support teams as needed
- Evaluate potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide feedback on contract negotiations
- Design, implement, review, and improve operational processes that drive quality and efficiency
- Analyze utilization and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield
- Mentor, train, and develop team members, including onboarding new hires and creating internal documentation to outline processes and best practices
- Work closely with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA
- Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's ad tech stack and ecosystem, and follow industry developments and trends
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3+ years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech
- Team management experience and a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams
- Expertise in defining and improving processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and excellence
- Highly skilled in planning, executing, and optimizing ad campaigns for display and video across websites, apps, social platforms, and connected TV environments
- Proven ability to activate campaigns, create accurate and relevant insights, and optimize performance
- Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, the technologies that power it, and key vendors in the space
- Familiarity with general data security and privacy requirements related to digital advertising
- Able to represent the company in external meetings and events
- Media or entertainment brand experience is desirable, as is knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global corporation
- Essential skills in using and managing ad operations systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad server systems (e.g., DV360), and management of Creative Labels and Tracking to support and lead the assigned team
- Knowledge of Massive activation for digital campaigns and related requirements

- 5+ years of experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on digital media operations and client service management
- Experience working with global brands and agencies, with a strong understanding of their needs and requirements
