Join Our Team
We are seeking an experienced Early Morning Food Production Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stores are stocked with fresh, high-quality products that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle production for key items to support Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments, ensuring that products are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests have a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure excellent product is ready for our guests by inspecting our store products for proper rotation, cleaning, sanitation procedures, and completing reports as necessary, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols, adhering to our company's values and principles.
- Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards and maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards colleagues and guests.
Availability and Schedule
This position requires the willingness to work a schedule of 3 am – 11 am, with days off typically being Sunday and Wednesday of each week. We offer a shift differential of an additional $2.00 an hour between the hours of 12 am – 5 am. As a full-time team member, you will be expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays, to meet the needs of our stores, guests, and teams.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a production or food service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- A valid driver's license (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A degree in a related field (e.g., culinary arts, food science)
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Experience with inventory management and control
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example
