About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)
We're seeking an experienced English Tutor to work from the comfort of their own home in Fishers, IN. As a Preply tutor, you'll have the freedom to set your own schedule and price, allowing you to work at your own pace and achieve a perfect work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
- Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, creating a personalized and engaging learning experience.
- Develop and deliver your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to cater to students' diverse needs.
- Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students, ensuring seamless communication and organization.
- Access Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
- Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs, driving their progress and success.
- Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them achieve their language learning goals.
Essential Qualifications
To become a Preply tutor, you'll need:
- Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- A University degree or a Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching.
- Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online.
- A high-speed internet connection to ensure smooth and uninterrupted online lessons.
- Energy, patience, responsibility, and a cheerful attitude to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can enhance your application:
- Previous experience with online language learning platforms or teaching English as a second language.
