About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Installer to join our team in The Keys location. As a Field Service Installer, you will play a crucial role in performing installations, removals, and relocations of fountain equipment at customer accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1+ years of demonstrated mechanical, technical, construction, or plumbing experience, and basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, removals, relocations, surveys, and basic service of fountain equipment at customer accounts.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical services on fountain dispensing equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain equipment, including preventative maintenance, to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain positive customer relationships by providing excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and install equipment in accordance with company standards, ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain an on-vehicle parts inventory and order new supplies as needed, minimizing waste and ensuring that the necessary parts are always available.
- Maintain and complete required paperwork, such as work tickets, parts lists, electronic surveys, and work order close-outs, to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide quality customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our customers and ensure that our services are always available.
- Follow all Company/DOT vehicle policies, including Smith-System, Geotab, and Lytx (Dashcams), to ensure that our vehicles are operated safely and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of demonstrated mechanical, technical, construction, or plumbing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with fountain equipment or similar machinery.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
