Key Responsibilities
- Work with large, complex, and dynamic datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions quickly
- Design and implement ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or processes that pull data from multiple sources and bring it together in one table
- Develop data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of changes and special business challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a regular basis and establish credibility with stakeholders
- Analyze stakeholder needs and work with them to share relevant data and insights
- Influence scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screen captures, metrics prioritization, and anomaly detection
- Document processes and share knowledge with colleagues, and mentor peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
- Creativity and a customer experience focus to develop meaningful dashboards and visualizations
- Business operations familiarity, with the ability to understand and root cause business issues
- Supply chain background, preferably with transportation experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, or Tableau Prep
