**Job Responsibilities**
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Producing high-quality RWE via advanced analytics and progressive processes within the medical trials space
* Collaborating with other team members to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests
* Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team consumption
* Performing data mining and statistical analysis to investigate RWE/RWD to identify new insights about patient populations and treatment results
* Supporting the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address medical questions from biopharmaceutical companies
* Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption
* Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and performing RWD quality checks to inform investment decisions
**Key Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a quantitative or computational field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field)
* At least 4 years of experience in a quantitative or computational role, with a strong background in R, Python, or SQL
* Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses within the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data
* Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
* Experience processing large data from diverse data sources
* Experience working with covered patient health data
* Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other business intelligence tools
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Ph.D. or Master's degree in a field such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field
* Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases
* Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
* Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
* Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods of medical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions
* Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
* Understanding of machine learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
