Position Overview
As a Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in assisting insurance companies serve their clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Transcribing descriptions of damaged property items in various formats, including handwritten and audio files
- Performing Google searches to determine fair replacement values for damaged items based on a set of guidelines provided by insurance companies
- Managing a high volume of items per hour, with a minimum productivity requirement post-training
- Providing excellent customer service through light client phone interactions
Key Responsibilities
As a Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Transcribing audio and written descriptions of damaged property items with high accuracy and efficiency
- Conducting Google searches to determine fair replacement values for damaged items
- Making informed decisions based on guidelines provided by insurance companies
- Maintaining a high level of productivity, meeting minimum item requirements per hour
- Providing exceptional customer service through phone interactions with clients
- Working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail, typing accuracy, and efficient keyboard/mouse movement
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Punctual and dependable with excellent time management skills
- Own a desktop computer (not a laptop) with Windows 10 or above, dual screens, and reliable internet service
- Webcam/video chat capabilities
- Accurately type at least 50 WPM
- Reside in the state of IN, TN, TX, PA, MS, NC, or SC
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Suite experience
- Data entry experience (1 year or more)

Schedule and Expectations
This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern Time, with one night shift of 11:30am-8:00pm Eastern Time assigned post-training. As a production-based job, you'll be expected to meet minimum productivity requirements and deadlines.
