Job Profile and Responsibilities
As an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate accounting records
- Preparing and filing tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax
- Providing financial analysis and recommendations to management

- Collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
- Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification, demonstrating your expertise in cloud-based accounting software
