We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission.

About the Role

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) and "At Will" position at WOJRC, reporting to the Data Manager. As a Data Entry Operator, you will play a critical role in gathering and entering daily client information from our team of Financial and Career Coaches and regional partners. Your accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills will ensure that our database systems are up-to-date and usable, ultimately supporting our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Entry: Gather, sort, and verify the accuracy of data from various sources, including client information and documentation.
• Database Management: Enter, update, and maintain client information on various database systems, including the State of California Employment Development Department's CalJOBs database system, Salesforce, and WOJRC's CRM.
• File Organization: Organize and maintain client paper and electronic files, ensuring that all documentation is collected and stored securely.
• Data Integrity and Security: Comply with data integrity, security policies, and procedures to ensure that all client information is kept confidential.
• Reporting and Queries: Respond to queries by accessing relevant files and generating reports, and perform modifications, edits, and deletions to the database based on approved documents.
• Office Equipment Management: Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or equivalent training, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and clients who face socio-economic hurdles.
• Ability to multitask effectively and perform repetitive tasks in a timely manner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:

• Typing speed of 40 words per minute or higher.
• Experience with various word processors and spreadsheets, such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with CalJobs and Salesforce database systems, or willingness to learn.
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
