Job Overview
In this critical role, you will contribute to the success of arenaflex's Contact Center for Foodservice by providing support to our Selling Team and field partners, handling service and delivery issues, and establishing and maintaining Gold Standard business relationships. You will be responsible for receiving and responding to inbound calls, inquiries, and communications from customers, marketing associates, and other customer representatives, as well as making outbound calls as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer Sales and Sales Support interactions from customers and sales associates (phone and email) such as general inquiries, feedback, or incidents
- Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
- Answer basic inquiries and resolve basic problems
- Document issues and identify appropriate actions to resolve inquiries, including those related to order entry, order modification, customer billing and payments, pricing, reporting, and customer-facing applications
- Actively redirect incoming callers to self-service options
- Perform proactive outbound follow-up communications as necessary
- Perform client site merchandising supplier support updates
- Monitor open orders to ensure accurate confirmations/Forward Warehouse open orders to ensure accurate confirmations
- Handle email requested interactions
- Perform catalog management maintenance for customer order guides
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in a Customer Service function, or an associate degree. You will also need to have basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Internet access is required for this role.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in the foodservice or foodservice distribution industry is preferred, as is call center experience. If you have a strong customer service background and are looking to take your skills to the next level, we encourage you to apply.
Technical Requirements
In addition to basic computer proficiency, you will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, with good vocabulary, proper grammar, and the ability to independently compose routine written communications. You will also need to be able to easily switch between English and Spanish language to support customer needs.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $14.50 for English representatives and $15.50 for bi-lingual Spanish representatives, with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.
