What to Expect
As an Inside Sales Supervisor at Tesla, you will play a critical role in leading our inside sales team to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction, sales performance, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing high-performing sales professionals, as well as driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with Tesla's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and cultivate the professional growth of management and staff, ensuring prompt position fulfillment, ongoing performance evaluation, and adherence to Tesla's policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Ensure all employees consistently deliver a best-in-class customer experience, proactively addressing and resolving concerns requiring additional leadership support
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to align on business needs, updates, and strategies, actively demonstrating sales leadership through a visible floor presence and effective role modeling
- Establish and monitor team performance goals, daily audit reports, and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Oversee employee productivity in Direct Sales, Online Chat, Delivery Functions, Trade-in, Service, and Ownership Outreach
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture that recognizes and rewards hard work, production, and innovation
- Effectively resolve all personnel issues in a timely manner by collaborating with Human Resources and relevant teams, as well as perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
What You'll Bring
To succeed as an Inside Sales Supervisor at Tesla, you will need to have a strong background in sales leadership, customer service, and team management. The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in phone sales, customer service, or managing an inbound/outbound contact center environment, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to make decisions aligned with Tesla standards and information security policies
- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools including MS Office, SharePoint, and CRM applications
- A valid driver's license in the country of employment
- A Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the Nevada State Department of Motor Vehicles (or eligibility to obtain one)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment
