About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our Remote Customer Response Center (CRC) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and responsive information and service to policyholders and agents for Personal Lines products and programs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders and agents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Independently solve problems relating to policies within scope and escalate others as appropriate, identifying, analyzing, and owning customer policy needs to ensure high customer satisfaction, growth, and retention of business.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve customer service and business outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets, including customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and sales performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications
- A valid Active Producer insurance license in addition to at least 1 year actively using the license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in using technology, including computer systems, software applications, and communication tools.
- A quiet, secure, distraction-free workspace with dependable, wired internet connectivity (upload speed of at least 5Mbps and download speed of at least 25Mbps).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of Personal Lines products and programs, including auto, home, and life insurance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
