As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Art, you will play a vital role in facilitating learning, academic achievement, and personal development by providing instruction to students. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Elementary Education K-3 or K-9 Endorsement registered in Lake County
- Illinois substitute license or Illinois teaching license registered in Lake County
- Considerable knowledge of core curriculum areas, including art and art history
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse student populations and learning styles
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching art in a school setting, with a focus on elementary or middle school students
- Knowledge of educational technology, including digital art software and online resources
