Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to apply the latest customer service techniques and learn our account management systems while helping improve the customer experience during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, working approximately 3-29 hours per week, with the opportunity to choose your shift within our specified times in CST. As a remote position, you will have the comfort of working from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous response to customer information needs
- Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach
- Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately, maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills
- Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions, demonstrating problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support, showcasing flexibility and adaptability
- Adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage, demonstrating reliability and responsibility
- Successfully demonstrate arenaflex's core values, including customer-first approach, self-motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Required Skills and Abilities
- Language Skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports, write routine correspondence and detailed accident descriptions, and project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, with the ability to provide feedback verbally and written in a positive, professional manner
- Computer Skills: knowledge of basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with a typing speed of at least 40wpm
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1-2 years of quality assurance experience preferred, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
Network Requirements
- Upon hire, a Speed Test must be run from the computer you will be working from (www.speedtest.net)
- Ethernet connection is not required, however strongly recommended
- Must be on a private network, not allowed to work in public locations
- No VPNs are allowed, as logins must happen in the US
