Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. In addition to your pharmacy responsibilities, you will also be involved in data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient and drug information.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, resolving issues and answering inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, sharing best practices with team members to deliver exceptional service
• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
• Support the Pharmacy team with clerical tasks, such as processing manual claims, handling phone calls, and maintaining records

Essential Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Preferred: 6 months of experience in a retail environment
• Preferred: Previous work experience with arenaflex
• Preferred: Basic math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
• Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
• Preferred: PTCB certification
