Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound fundraising calls on an automated dialer to existing or potential donors
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and respond to their inquiries
- Use scripts to provide information about candidates or causes and persuade donors to contribute
- Record donor information accurately in our computer system and ensure data integrity
- Correctly code calls and maintain detailed records of interactions
- Collaborate with our coaching team to improve performance, address challenges, and achieve goals
- Stay up-to-date on current events, political issues, and non-profit organizations to enhance your knowledge and credibility
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in telesales, fundraising, or a related field
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets
- Strong knowledge of political issues, non-profit organizations, and social causes
- Proficiency in using automated dialer systems, computer software, and data entry tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with inbound/outbound calls, fundraising/sustainer calls, polling calls, survey calls, membership calls, outreach calls, or proxy calls
- Knowledge of CRM software and data management systems
