About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch support and ensuring seamless order management. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, driving loyalty, and contributing to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Order Management:
  • Accurately process sales orders daily, maintaining an error rate of no more than 2 per month.
  • Set up new clients and manage their accounts as needed, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Handle exception calls, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide support to sales representatives, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Standing Orders:
  • Establish initial standing orders for customers, ensuring compliance with our processes.
  • Maintain standing orders, including holds, releases, and additions, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exception Processing:
  • Process exceptions into our Case module, creating credit memos, filing freight claims, and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Follow established procedures for defective products, issuing call tags and reshipping items as required.
• Freight Claims:
  • Process freight claims, pursuing payment from carriers and maintaining accurate records.
  • File claim paperwork, ensuring compliance with our processes and regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications) is a plus.
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and our proprietary systems (training will be provided).
