Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls from government clients, providing timely and accurate information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Document details of conversations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
- Utilize scripts, online reference materials, and other resources to guide conversations and provide confident, accurate, and efficient information
- Maintain sufficient reliable private internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable, to ensure seamless and secure communication
- Proficiently utilize technical systems, including desktop, call center specific phone systems, and the internet, to manage customer interactions and resolve issues
- Meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and continuous improvement
- Educate and answer questions from customers, providing the most up-to-date information about the program, and demonstrating a strong customer focus rooted in empathy
- Follow protocol and apply sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity
Requirements and Qualifications

Must Have (Required)
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to utilize online reference materials, technical systems, and other software applications
- Ability to pass language knowledge assessment, demonstrating proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Strong internet connection, due to the remote nature of this role, with the ability to maintain a reliable and secure home office environment
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Bilingual or Multilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in a call center or government client support environment
- Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), demonstrating a high level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors, providing a strong foundation for understanding complex customer issues
- Previous experience with FEMA Call Center, or similar emergency response environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in high-pressure situations
